What to bring on a boat trip in Burgas: a practical checklist

For a Sail Burgas trip, the essential packing list is short: bring your food and drinks, towels, sunscreen and swimwear. The yacht already has ice, cups and plates, so you do not need to pack those basics.

The four essentials

• Food and drinks. Bring what your group would like during the trip. A fridge is available aboard.
• Towels. Pack one for each person who may want it.
• Sunscreen. Keep it easy to reach rather than at the bottom of a bag.
• Swimwear. A swim stop depends on conditions and the captain’s decision, so it is sensible to pack swimwear without treating swimming as guaranteed.

What is already included

Your booking covers the whole Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45 for your group, a captain for the trip, fuel for the standard route, and ice, cups and plates. The yacht also has a shaded cockpit, three cabins, two toilets and a fridge.

Knowing what is aboard helps keep your own bag focused on food, drinks and personal items. It also avoids bringing disposable cups or plates unnecessarily.

Pack for conditions, not a promised route

Routes and timing depend on conditions and the captain’s confirmation. This also affects whether a swim stop is possible. Pack the same essentials whichever of the 3, 4.5 or 6-hour trips you are considering, then ask the captain if you need guidance for your date.

Every trip departs from Sarafovo Marina, Burgas. The exact meeting details are confirmed in WhatsApp, so check that conversation before setting out rather than relying on a general marina location.
